Emission Testing Emission testing starts with quick scans in our anechoic chamber to identify any possible emission problem before final testing at the Open Area Test Site (OATS). Anechoic Chamber The chamber is used to perform engineering and pre-compliance scans. The lab area is equipped with rework tools and a full range of attenuation and suppression type components to implement solutions to emission problems.
Open Area Test Site The Open Area Test Site (OATS) is located in a very low ambient area of North Monterey County, California. The OATS facility is a fully compliant 3/10-meter site with an 8-foot flush mount turntable capable of holding up to 2 tons. Auxiliary equipment can be connected via underground conduit through the center of the turntable and located out of the measurement field.
